Wife, Mother, and Your Advocate

Meet Juliene M. Snyder

Hello! I’m Juliene M. Snyder — a proud wife, mother of three, and passionate community servant. I grew up in Illinois on a family beef farm, learning the value of hard work, resilience, and honesty from a young age. My path has taken me across six states—Ohio, Illinois, Utah, Idaho, Pennsylvania, and Texas—but my heart has always led me back to Utah, where my family and I now live in Ogden.

I believe in the power of community and the importance of truth, transparency, and listening to diverse perspectives. My journey has been shaped by service, education, and family, and I am committed to bringing that same dedication to my role as District 10 Representative.

Roots, Family, and Early Ambitions

I grew up on a beef farm in Illinois, immersed in the rhythms of rural life. My upbringing instilled in me a strong work ethic, resourcefulness, and a deep respect for nature and community. From an early age, I embraced opportunities to explore my interests and talents. I participated in competitive dance, 4-H, speech & drama club, choir, and school musicals—activities that shaped my confidence and creativity.

Academically, I graduated high school a semester early, demonstrating my love of learning and ambition. I pursued higher education at Brigham Young University in Provo and online through BYU-Idaho, ultimately completing an AAS degree in Family History Research. My education nurtured my passion for research, detail, and understanding the stories that connect people across generations.

Guiding Principles

Truth is at the core of Juliene’s approach. She strives to understand every side of an issue and respects that everyone’s perspective contributes to the full picture. She enjoys answering questions, discussing topics thoughtfully, and exploring ideas from multiple angles.

Juliene is also a proud “Midwest goodbye-er” — meaning conversations often linger, but with care and attention. She continues to practice brevity, yet values deep connection and understanding above all.

Why I Chose to Run

Juliene did not come from a traditional political background. Like many families, hers focused on work, raising children, and meeting everyday challenges.

But over the years, she has prepared for this moment through education, community service, and civic engagement. She knows what it means to face bills due, limited resources, and the need for careful prioritization.

Her greatest goal is to inspire others to get civically involved, to step forward in ways that strengthen their communities, and to ensure that families like hers have a voice in government.

She believes in “times and seasons for giving and receiving.” For those who can, she encourages volunteering. For those needing help, she reminds them that helpers exist, and support is always available.

Juliene is ready to serve as District 10 Representative, bringing authentic, real-life experience to the role.

Serving You as District 10 Representative

If elected as your next District 10 Representative, my foremost goal is to inspire civic engagement and ensure that every resident feels their voice matters. I bring a unique perspective to this office—I am not a career politician. My life is rooted in family, community service, and lived experience, and I will always prioritize the people I represent over political convenience.

My vision includes:

I aim to demonstrate that you don’t need a perfect home, a polished résumé, or decades of political planning to make a difference. Dedication, honesty, and a willingness to serve are the true markers of effective leadership.

Your Voice Matters
Communities are strongest when people participate. Every voice is important. Whether you volunteer, stay informed, or share your ideas, you contribute to building a brighter future.
