My Principles

As Utah continues to grow, the decisions we make today will shape the future for our families, communities, and children. I believe good policy comes from a combination of careful research, thoughtful discussion, and strong personal values.

My background in family history research taught me the importance of examining documents carefully, considering multiple perspectives, and understanding the broader story behind every issue. At the same time, my experiences as a wife, mother, volunteer, and community member keep me grounded in the everyday realities that families face.

I strive to approach every issue with honesty, curiosity, and respect for different viewpoints. My goal is not simply to advocate for policies, but to ensure that the voices of the people in our communities are heard and considered.

The principles below represent the values that guide my decisions and shape my approach to public service.

Education

Parents know their children best. I support policies that empower families to be actively involved in their children’s education and ensure that schools remain focused on student success. Education should provide students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to build meaningful lives and contribute positively to their communities.

Responsible Government

Families across Utah carefully manage their household budgets, and government should do the same. I support responsible fiscal policies that prioritize essential services, reduce wasteful spending, and ensure taxpayer dollars are used wisely.

Healthcare

Access to healthcare should be affordable, transparent, and centered on patient choice. I support efforts to improve transparency in healthcare costs, encourage competition, and ensure families have the information they need to make informed medical decisions.

Public Lands

Utah’s natural landscapes are a defining part of our heritage. I believe in responsible stewardship that preserves our natural resources while allowing responsible access and use for future generations.

National Defense
A strong and prepared military is essential to protecting our nation and preserving the freedoms we enjoy. Supporting those who serve, as well as their families and veterans, is an important responsibility we share as citizens.
Second Amendment

The right to bear arms is an important constitutional freedom. I support policies that respect this right while encouraging responsible ownership and safety within our communities.

Food Affordability
Rising food costs affect every family. As someone who understands household budgeting and comes from agricultural roots, I believe we should work toward policies that support local agriculture, strengthen food supply chains, and keep food affordable for families.
Clean Air

Utah’s air quality is an important issue that affects public health and quality of life. I support practical solutions that improve air quality while balancing economic growth, transportation needs, and responsible environmental stewardship.

Protecting Life

I believe every life has inherent value and dignity. My pro-life views reflect my belief in protecting the most vulnerable while encouraging compassionate support systems for families and mothers.
